What is the purpose of access control and why should I use it?
Having an access control system installed to your premises will enable you to control who you wish to grant access to and more importantly, who you don’t.
The default solution for access to most buildings is to provide all the staff with keys, which is fine except for when they are either lost or stolen. When this happens, businesses incur the expense and inconvenience of changing locks and re-issuing keys, and in addition to this, keys can be copied which creates a greater security risk.
Electronic access control systems provide the most convenient and effective solution of securing your business and the assets that it contains. You will never need to change that lock again as a lost fob or token can be barred from accessing the building and any other controlled doors.
Access systems will also automatically lock doors once they are closed it is even possible to purposely unlock doors during time periods if this is preferred.
